المستخلص The current research aimed to clarify the educational efforts - theoretical and applied - for the International Institute of Islamic Thought, and highlight these efforts through his writings and applied achievements on the ground, and work to analyze and criticize them, and try to develop a proposed vision to benefit from these positive results in educational reform in Egypt. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher used the descriptive method, in addition to the content analysis method. The research reached many results, including: The International Institute of Islamic Thought was based on its educational efforts from the belief that the crisis of thought is the basis of the crises that the Islamic nation is going through, and that the educational issue is the beginning and the basis of intellectual and societal reform, so it put in the forefront of its priorities the work to develop An educational methodology that is practically capable of formulating the active Islamic personality. The institute works to achieve this goal through dozens of publications, conferences, seminars, workshops and educational courses, and through the institutes’ Arabic and English magazines. The most prominent educational issues that contributed to its Islamic foundation were: the Islamic methodology in education, conceptual building, knowledge integration, the centralization of values in Islamic education, the philosophy of education and its goals, and educational institutions; On top of it (family, school, and university). The institute was able to transfer this quantity of ideas to practical projects and educational institutions, the most important of which - which was discussed in the current research by presentation and analysis -: the International Islamic University in Malaysia, the Institute of Islam Knowledge in Sudan, the University of Islamic and Social Sciences in the United States of America, and the school International Islamic Malaysia. The research ended with a proposed vision to benefit from the experience of the International Institute for Islamic Theory and Applied in the development of education in Egypt. |
