The problem of the study is: to characterize and analyze the change in audience media behavior of traditional television viewers, to estimate the exposure rates, dependence, confidence, patterns of use and saturation achieved, in addition to analyze the factors influencing this change. The study aimed to answer a main question: What are the determinants of the change in the behavior of traditional television viewers? What does it have to do with their use of digital video media? The study relied on the analytical descriptive approach, which aims to analyze the variables of traditional television viewers and to analyze the relationship between TV watching and the public’s use of digital visual media. The sample of the analytical study consisted of five digital platforms that were qualitatively analyzed. The field study sample consisted of a (580) person. The study relied on the questionnaire as a tool for the current study. The most important findings of the study: The general results of the study indicated that the concern for the use of digital visual media was higher than that of traditional television. Which showed us that digital platforms were beginning to negatively affect the use of television. The high intensity of the use of digital platforms was due to the multiplicity of places where digital video media was available, such as the ease of using digital video. The study also found that there is a great influence of digital video media on watching television, and these features appeared largely and were associated with the emergence of social media, as it have the ability to benefit from the capabilities and increasing diversity in social media.
