Abstract The present thesis is devoted for developing new methods for the analysis of some drugs used for treatment brain disorders either in pure form, in pharmaceutical preparations or in human plasma and urine samples. The principles of the proposed procedures as well as the experimental parameters were studied, discussed and explained. Furthermore, the data given were statistically analyzed and compared with those obtained by the comparison methods. Part 1: This part includes a general introduction about some drugs used for treatment of brain disorders and the aim of the thesis. Part II.A: Sensitive spectrofluorometric method was developed for the determination of cisatracurium besylate. Different experimental parameters were carefully studied and the method was successfully applied for the analysis of the studied compound in its commercial ampoules and in spiked human plasma. Part II.B: First derivative synchronous spectrofluorometric method was utilized for the simultaneous determination of cisatracurium besylate and nalbuphine hydrochloride. Different experimental parameters were carefully studied and the method was successfully applied for the analysis of the studied compounds in their commercial ampoules and in spiked human urine. part III: first derivative synchronous spectrofluorometric method was developed for the simultaneous determination of propofol and cisatracurium besylate. Different experimental parameters were carefully studied and the methods were successfully applied for the analysis of the studied compounds in their commercial ampoules and in spiked human plasma. Part IV: Investigation of binding activity of fluvoxamine maleate with human serum albumin using different methods such as native fluorescence, synchronous fluorescence, UV–visible absorption, Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), in addition to molecular docking approaches.part V: Determination of quaternary mixture of clopidogrel bisulphate, atorvastatin and aspirin with its degradation product, salicylic acid using partial least squares with and without genetic algorithm. The proposed procedures were validated and successfully applied for the determination of the studied drugs in their pharmaceutical preparation. Part VI: Determination of binary mixture of fluoxetine hydrochloride and sildenafil citrate using partial least square and artificial neural network with and without genetic algorithm. The proposed procedures were validated and successfully applied for the determination of the studied drugs in their pharmaceutical preparation. |
