Abstract
The study aimed at identifying the impact of the interaction between future anxiety, optimism and pessimism on the ability to creative thinking in its dimensions of first-grade high school female students. The study sample consisted of ”207” female student. The results indicated that: there is a negative relationship between future anxiety in its dimensions (academic anxiety, life anxiety, and economic anxiety) and optimism. There is a positive relationship between future anxiety with its dimensions (academic anxiety, life anxiety, and economic anxiety) and pessimism. There is a negative relationship between future anxiety in its dimensions (academic anxiety, life anxiety, and economic anxiety) and the ability of creative thinking in its dimensions (fluency–flexibility –originality). There is a positive relationship between optimism and the ability of creative thinking in its dimensions (fluency–flexibility– originality). There is a negative correlation between pessimism and the ability of creative thinking in its dimensions (fluency–flexibility-originality). There is no effect of the interaction between future anxiety, optimism and pessimism on creative thinking abilities of first-grade high school female students.
