Abstract
The study presented the comparison between the commercial capsules containing 25 mg indomethacin and the prepared capsules containing 25 mg indomethacin and 50mg quercetin (quercetin is in the form of solid dispersion with PVP in 1:1 ratio w/w).
from the results, it was observed that patients received the prepared formula showed a significant improvement in hyperacidity symptoms severity and prolonged duration of medication administration more than patients received indomethacin alone.
Clinical results is in agreement with laboratory and animal experimental studies. Extra confirmatory clinical studies in this point is required in which gastric endoscopy before and after medication administration should be applied.
