In turn, it has affected all sectors of society and has become one of the most important weapons that shape the civilization of nations and make their future, and because we now live in the knowledge economy and in the shadow of a civilized world that always strives towards development and access to knowledge with the least time and effort we had To grow and develop from our human capabilities and gain the technological skills that enable us to catch up with scientific progress so that we can deal with such modern technologies easily and smoothly, those technologies that have become an example to be followed and followed by all social institutions, especially institutions Educational research bodies of those institutions, which serves as a protective shield and the hippocampus for all the problems of society and the building of human energies and equip them with the necessary to build their society is not progressing but Nations demolished by sons of educated young people with university mental and intellectual capacity of constructive
As scientific research is a beacon and the main source from which all sciences derive its scientific facts and knowledge, it was necessary to work to raise the level of academic performance for graduate students as an integral part of the scientific research system that needs support in research institutions so that these students can continue and complete Their scientific career in the field of graduate studies and work to develop their technological skills while providing all sectors and research bodies with technological systems and innovations in a manner that guarantees with them the achievement of quality so that society can take a steady step towards progress Keep up with all the new Bamadmar scientific research.
Therefore, the social work profession pays great attention and effort to advance the field of education in general and scientific research in particular to ensure its quality and multiply its productivity. The group work method has had The biggest role in achieving this goal as the group work method as one of the methods of the social work profession seeks to interest in developing Supporting the academic performance of graduate students in the field of scientific research through working to develop their skills and technological capabilities in the optimal way, given the comprehensive and effective programs and techniques involved in this method that help in tracking this development.from this standpoint, the study problem can be crystallized and formulated in answering the following question: What is the proposed program that could contribute to developing technological skills for graduate students from the perspective of the group work method?
Second: The importance of the study:
1. The emergence of many societal changes, such as technological innovation, as one of the tracks of the development process..
2. Many postgraduate students lack technological skills in the research process, according to the survey study.
3. The increasing interest in the social work profession in keeping pace with the changes that are inflicted in the various fields of practice, especially the field of scientific research
4. The group work method is keen to support the academic performance of graduate students in the field of scientific research in order to comply with the requirements of the modern era.
Third: The objectives of the study: -
The main objective of the study is to arrive at a proposed program from the perspective of Social group Work and developing the technological skills of Graduate Students’. from this goal a set of sub-goals emerge: -
1) Determine the nature of technological skills to be developed by graduate students.
2) Define programs that help develop technological skills for graduate students.
3) Defining the role of faculty members in developing technological skills for graduate students
4) . Determine the obstacles that prevent the development of technological skills for graduate students.
5) Determine the proposals that lead to the development of technological skills for graduate students.
Fourth: Study questions:The main question of the study: what is the A proposed program from the perspective of Social group Work and developing the technological skills of Graduate Students? from this question emerges a set of the following sub-questions:
1) What is the nature of technological skills to be developed for graduate students?
2) What programs help to develop technological skills for graduate students?
3) What is the role of faculty members in developing technological skills for graduate students?
4) What are the obstacles that prevent the development of technological skills for graduate students?
5) What are the proposals that lead to developing technological skills for graduate students?
Fifth: Study concepts: The study dealt with a set of the following basic concepts:
1. The concept of the program in the group work method.
2. The concept of technological skills.
3. The concept of graduate students.
Sixth: The Methodological procedures of the study:
1- Type of study: The current study belongs to one of the types of research studies, which is descriptive study
2- The used method: the social survey method for the sample
3- Study tools: The current study relied on using the following tools:
A- A questionnaire applied to graduate students at the Faculty of Social Work - Assiut University
B- A semi-codified interview applied to faculty members at the Faculty of Social Work - Assiut University
4- Fields of study:
A- The human domain: The present study has to been applied:
1) A random sample of (227) students from the postgraduate students at the Faculty of Social Work - Assiut University.
2) An intentional sample of faculty members at the Faculty of Social Work - Assiut University, and they are (12) .
B-The Place domain: The study was applied at the Faculty of Social Sciences - Assiut University
C- Time domain: Data were collected from the field during the period (15/11/2019 to 5/12/2019).
5-Results of the study:
A- The results of the study indicated that the nature of technological skills to be developed for graduate students according to the order of their relative strength is:
1.Technological cooperation skill
2. Technological communication skill
3. Technological innovation skill
4. Technological critical thinking skill
5. The skill of solving technological problems
6. Technological creativity skill
B- The results of the study indicated that the programs that develop the technological skills of graduate students according to the order of their relative strength are:
Training programs such as:
A- Holding courses on using the statistical analysis program
B- Holding training courses on using the knowledge bank sites
Social programs such as:
A- Providing scholarships for teaching technology skills
B- Conducting studies and research related to the problems of scientific research
Technology programs such as:
A- Providing internet networks
B- Providing periodic subscriptions to digital libraries
Creative programs such as:
A- Self-learning
B- electronic brainstorming
Cultural programs such as:
A- Holding group discussions
B - Establish scientific initiatives
C- The results of the study indicated that the role of faculty members in developing technological skills for graduate students from the viewpoint of graduate students is as follows:
- To contribute to conducting research and studies related to the problems of graduate students and their technological needs
- To attract the attention of graduate students to problems resulting from the move away from using technological skills
- It provides an opportunity for graduate students to speak and express clearly their knowledge and research needs
D- The results of the study indicated that the most important obstacles that prevent the development of technological skills for graduate students from the viewpoint of graduate students according to the order of their relative strength are:
Obstacles due to the academic curricula, including:
• Sufficient theory study of technological skills without applying them
• There is a gap between the curriculum content and the actual reality required technological skills
Obstacles attributed to graduate students, including:
A- Weak technological experience among graduate students
B- The weak material capabilities of some students in learning technological skills
Obstacles related to the administration of the college, including:
 Lack of focus on training programs aimed at providing graduate students with technological skills
 Lack of resources directed towards providing technological equipment for graduate students
Barriers attributed to faculty members, including:
A- The limited number of teachers trained in using technological skills in the academic field
B - Traditional practices in teaching curricula without relying on modern technological methods
E- The results of the study indicated that the proposals that lead to developing technological skills for graduate students from the viewpoint of graduate students are represented in the following:
- Intensifying training programs for graduate students on technological skills
- Attention to the practical side of the curricula of technological skills
- Simplifying the established scientific subject about technological skills so that they can be studied
- Inclusion of technological skills in the curricula and curricula of graduate students
