Abstract

The thesis was covered in two volumes as follows:
Volume I: Text: it is divided into an introduction and three parts
The Introduction: This part will give an introduction about ’Abdeen palace and ’Abdeen palace museums, especially the silver artifacts. It also gives a brief on the historical background of the collection owners.
First part: The descriptive study: This part is subdivided into four chapters:
Chapter one: Lighting tools
Chapter two: Dining utensils
Chapter three: Drinking utensils
Chapter four: Various tools
Second part: The analytical study: This part is subdivided into four chapters:
Chapter one: Artifacts in terms of form and function
Chapter two: Decoration and manufacturing techniques
Chapter three: Decorative elements (motifs)
Chapter four: Turkish and European influences
Third part: Promotion and marketing of ‘Abdeen palace museums: This part is divided into two chapters:
Chapter one: ‘Abdeen palace museums as a unique historical attraction
Chapter two: Promotion and marketing of ‘Abdeen palace museums
The conclusion: I concluded this study with the results, suggestions and recommendations of the thesis.
The study is supported by a supplementary attachment including a glossary of ambiguous words and some technical and artistic terms.
Volume II: Album
It includes the research album with photos of this artistic collection photographed by the researcher, descriptive figures, and decoration.
