Abstract

In recent years, many studies have been indicated that ellagic acid and caffeine acts as a natural medicine with multiple biochemical and pharmacological activities including; anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antidepressant, antimicrobial and hepatoprotective. In addition, ellagic acid and caffeine have the potential to prevent and treat various neurodegenerative disorders including AD. from all of this finding, artichoke waste extract (ethMAE), which contain both ellagic acid and caffeine could be promising dietary food supplement helping in enhancement the deterioration of AD biomarkers.
