Abstract Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection is considered one of most important bacterial diseases affecting cultured fish causing severe economic losses. This work aimed to study the efficacy of Cefotaxime sodium in treatment of Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) from Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection. This was realized by determination of Pseudomonas aeruginosa sensitivity to Cefotaxime sodium, determination of minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of antibiotic against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, determination of LD50 of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in Oreochromis niloticus, study the in vivo efficacy of Cefotaxime sodium in treatment of Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection in Oreochromis niloticus. |
