Abstract This researches was designed to study the shear bond strength of zirconia bonded with two different adhesive resin cements using two different surface conditioning technique after thermocycling. Forty rectangular zirconia samples were used in this researches With two different dimensions : Twenty rectangular samples with dimensions (13 × 11 × 3 mm) And the other twenty samples with dimensions (6 × 5 × 3 mm) Surface treatment was done for zirconia samples using two different Types : * 20 zirconia samples (10 samples from each dimensions) were treated with sand blasting with 110 µm AL2O3 Particles. * 20 zirconia samples (10 samples from each dimensions) were treated with silica coating with 30 µm SiO2 using (COJET system). Each group was subdivided into 2 subgroups (10 samples each) and the samples from each subgroup were cemented with two different adhesive resin cements (Panavia F2.0 and Bistite ΠDC). All cemented specimens were thermocycled for 5000 thermal cycles using a thermocycling machine. |
