Abstract This study was carried to investigate: I. The effect of incubation periods, compost and rock phosphate addition on studied soil properties II. The impact of incubation periods, compost application on forms of phosphorus released from rock phosphate III. Determine growth, concentration and uptake of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium by parley plants cultivated in soil treated with the previous factors (incubation periods, compost and rock phosphate).tested soil. Surface soil (0-30) was collected from EL Hamoul Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate Next to Kitchener Drainage. The soil sample was air-dried, soil properties pH: 7.6 ; EC:1.8; clay content: 60.87% Five hundred grams of soil samples air-dried were weighed and potted in plastic pots (27 treatments) representby three rats of compost (0, 2,4%);three rats of rock phosphate (0,1,3%) and different incubation period (0, 3, 6 months) were applied. Soil samples were moistened to field capacity and arranged in three replicates. The experiment of incubation carried out under laboratory conditions. Soil samples were taken from each treatment at the end of each incubation time and analyzed. Some soil chemical properties (pH, EC, OM) and phosphorus fractions were determined. The treatments of experiment were organized ina completely randomized block design. |
