The study aimed to: To reveal the effectiveness of a proposed program based on DBAE theory () in art education and its impact on developing artistic skills (preparation and preparation of the painting, drawing the subject on the surface of the painting, building artwork, coloring, showing technical and plastic values) and developing critical thinking (skills Conclusion - knowledge of postulates or assumptions - deduction - interpretation - evaluation of arguments) for the teacher student in the Department of Art Education at the Faculty of Specific Education Mansoura University, and to achieve the goals of the study the study used the descriptive analytical approach in studying the philosophical and conceptual framework of the theory of DBAE) and the semi-experimental approach with two experimental and control groups The (pre / post) measurement, as for the study sample, was a random sample of (60) students from the third year students at the Faculty of Specific Education Department of Art Education, distributed by (30) students for the experimental group, (30) students for the control group, the study tools were in A proposed program in art education based on DBAE theory () in art education, note card technical skills preparation of the study, and a measure of critical thinking to measure critical thinking skills Study, study results: 1- “There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (≤01‚) between the mean scores of students of the two groups: control, and experimental in the post-application of the technical skills note card (dimensions and total score) in favor of students of the experimental group. ”2- There are statistically significant differences at the level (≤01 ‚) between the average scores of students of the experimental group in the two applications: the pre and post for the technical skills note card (dimensions and the total score) in favor of the post application“ 3- ”There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (≤01‚ ) Between the mean scores of students of the two groups: control, and experimental in the post-application of the critical thinking skills test (dimensions and total score) in favor of students of the experimental group, 4 - “There are statistically significant differences at the level of (≤01‚) between the mean scores of students of the experimental group in the two applications: Pre- and post-test for critical thinking skills (dimensional and total score) in favor of post-application. 5- There is no significant correlation at the significance level (01 ‚) between the experimental group students’ degrees in technical skills at a distance, and their grades in skill Critical thinking came after me. ”
