Abstract Two hundred and ten white pekin ducklings of one day old were used to demonstrate the validity of some commercial antimycotoxin product that extensively used in Egyptian poultry farms (Solcin, Citromax, Scibond, Tronill, Feed bond and Neutritox) were tested in white pekin ducklings, fed two different commercial basal diets (Elnour and Elbaraka ration and Herman ration). Criteria were chosen to consider the important feature of poultry production [mortality, body weight, weight gain, feed conversion rate, relative organ weights (liver and spleen) and serum biochemical parameters [alanin aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST)]. Administration of citromax, freebond and Nutritoxin diet can give promise results in reducing some adverse effects of myctoxins found in some commercial basal diets. |
