where the study proceeds from the research into what absolute time, and the human view of it, and then determine the types of time, which is divided into: natural time, physical time, philosophical time, psychological time, fiction time. The study will focus on fiction time, and on its techniques that contribute to a time paradox between the time of the story and the time of discourse in an attempt by the new novelists to break the monotony of time (chronology) and the adoption of fragmented time as a substitute in the construction of fiction time. And to mention the three dimensions of time: past - present - future and the role of this tripartite in the formation of human existence. from here we can say that we are faced with a novelistic time that meets the author’s need by diving into the depths of the past to summon a particular moment for an artistic purpose, then floating on the surface of the present to realize a particular moment he deems worthy of observation, and to establish a dialectical relationship between them and the past, or between them and a forward-looking moment; Flexible allows the author to move through different times, and break into its borders, and thus has been able to reproduce an imagined time and uniqueness and folding as he wants, to avoid submitting to natural time, which will be clear in the introduction and chapters of research.
