Abstract
The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effect of oral administration of sofosbuvir (SOF) in different durations on the structural and ultra-structural features of the submandibular salivary glands of adult male albino rats.
Immunohistochemical (PCNA) results:
Statistical analysis of PCNA immunoreactivity revealed predominantly negative area masked by the blue binary color in the control group.
Statistical analysis of PCNA immunoreactivity revealed significant decrease in the area masked by the blue binary color from subgroup (1) to subgroup (3) in the experimental subgroups.
Statistical analysis of PCNA immunoreactivity revealed significant increase in the area masked by the blue binary color in the recovery group.
