This thesis is one of the researches that concern about architectural heritage, which is an important part of cultural heritage because of its great importance in preserving the identity of peoples, and therefore it has become necessary to preserve the architectural heritage and its symbols and architectural elements from historical buildings, especially historical palaces because of its diversity In the use of the elements of form creativity and architectural vocabulary. And the focus in the research on the design values and elements of form creativity produced by the process of architectural design of historical palaces in the 19th century and how to benefit from them at the present time. The research focuses on several points: shedding light on the historical architecture of palaces in the 19th century, Identify the different design styles that were revived in that period and that were affected by the palaces at that time, elicit the most important elements of form creativity that characterized historical palaces in that period, and how they were developed to suit contemporary architecture. Through the research, the palaces in the 19th century will be highlighted through an overview of the history of palaces architecture in general and the reasons for choosing the era of time and the construction of these palaces and to identify the features of design thinking of historical palaces and the most important characteristic of that period, up to Ways to create these palaces, depending on each of the styles that were revived in that period, Then a detailed study on the architecture of palaces in Cairo city in the 19th century in particular, and how European architectural influences moved to Egypt during that period, reviving ancient styles and returning to the past, with a quick overview of the construction of palaces in Cairo during that period, And get to know the different design styles that were revived in the 19th century, then deduce the most important elements of form creativity that characterized the palaces in that period and how they were developed to suit contemporary architecture. The research also reviews an analytical study of five of the palaces that were chosen during the study period, which are Al-Manasterly kiosk, Saffron Palace, Al-Jazeera Palace, Al-Sakakini Palace, Saeed Halim Palace), by offering a quick overview of each palace separately with a detailed study of the palace from the outside and inside and the conclusion The elements of form creativity that distinguish it. An applied study of the elements of form creativity of the palaces of Cairo city in the 19th century on contemporary housing architecture, where it deals with a practical application of the elements of form creativity of the 19th century palaces on some modern Villas in Egypt that are located in New Cairo in the neighborhood of assembly Fifth - South Ninety Street, which represents the educational situation.
