Firstly, Aim of the study:
1) How to achieve tourism development in Al-Moez Street area, and to deal
with it as a living heritage area and not only the largest open museum in the
world.
2) Highlighting the importance of the Islamic heritage in Al-Moez Street by
clarifying its history during the different eras, and how this can be used to
achieve tourism development.
3) The revival of commercial activities on the street, particularly the
handicrafts that have disappeared.

4) Shedding light on the Islamic monuments in Al-Moez Street, that have
not been optimally exploited.
5) Identifying the reasons that resulted in the relatively low tourists numbers
in Al-Moez Street, and developing solutions to achieve higher numbers
and development.
6) Analysis of the role of the government sector, the private sector and the
local community, and their possible cooperation to achieve tourism
development.
7) Finding plans to manage Al-Moez Street and to increase the touristic
services in its area.
