Introduction and research problem:۔
The practice of sporting activities in our world expresses the cultures of countries and the advancement of their people, so it is necessary to pay attention to the sport of high standards, in order to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of peoples in preparing generations of their youth. Among all other nations and civilizations.
In this regard, Abdel-Nasser Abdel-Rahim Al-Quddous (2010) stated that learning mathematical skills is one of the aspects that are directly related to the central nervous system, and that it requires the brain to be employed in an integrated manner for the differences and functions of the spherical hemispheres of the human brain. It has a link to thinking and learning styles
The concept of brain control refers to the scientist, ”John” Jackson, with his idea of the leading side in the brain (The Leading Hemisphere), and this concept is considered the origin from which the concept of brain control was derived. As Jackson puts it, the two hemispheres of the brain cannot just be repeating each other
Barbara, Knight (2002) stated that the human brain is divided longitudinally into two asymmetric hemispheres called the left and right hemispheres, so that they connect together through a group of nerve fibers known as the rigid body, and often the left hemisphere is the one that dominates The functions of the right side of the body in most individuals, as well as the control of all signals from the brain to the body, in people who use the right hand more than the left hand, and vice versa.
Through the researcher’s work in designing and training sports performances and their participation in many competitions, and also the researcher assisting in teaching the subject of rhythmic exercises, I noticed that there is no kinematic link between the movements of the right side and the left side movements of female students of sports performances at the Faculty of Physical Education, Beni Suef University, and I found that the students who Belonging to the left side brain control category, distinguished in left side movements, and the students belonging to the right side brain control category are distinguished in right side movements, which prompted the researcher to design a training program that seeks to develop the pattern of cerebral control and identify its effect on some harmonic abilities And the performance level of the sports performances team
Importance and need for research:
A- Scientific importance:
- To the researcher’s knowledge, this research may be one of the rare studies dealing with brain control problems.
- The importance of the research lies in that it is a serious attempt to link between sports training and rhythmic exercises and the development of the pattern of brain control by studying the nature of the pattern of brain control of the sample under study using the scales and tests designated for this. The need for this research comes through the researcher’s belief in the importance of using modern methods and methods in training In line with the potential and human nature.
B- Application importance:
This research seeks to improve cerebral control fluorescence and some harmonic capabilities.
This research seeks to contribute to improving the performance of the sports performances team.
research aims :
The research aims to design an exercise program and identify its effect on: -
Developing the cerebral control pattern.
- The level of consensus capabilities of the research sample.
Research hypotheses :
- There are statistically significant differences between the two types of cerebral control (right, left) for the research sample in the pre-measurement, while there are no differences between them in the post measurement.
- There are statistically significant differences between the pre-measurement and the post-measurement in the research sample, in the level of harmonic abilities, and in favor of the post-measurement.
- Cerebral control pattern
It is the distinction of one of the spherical hemispheres of the brain to control the behavior of the individual or the tendency of the individual to depend on one hemisphere of the brain more than the other half. Research methodology:
According to the nature of the research problem and to achieve its objectives and test its hypotheses, the researcher followed the experimental method by using the experimental design of one experimental group of pre and post measurement to identify the effect of the training program on the variables under study.
research community:
The study population included the female students of the Faculty of Physical Education at Beni Suef University, whose number is (558) students in the four teams, and those enrolled in the 2019/2020 academic year.
The research sample:
The researcher selected the study sample by the deliberate method from the research community, and the total number of the research sample reached (40) female students participating in the college sports team, from the second year to the fourth year, representing 7.1% of the research community, and the research sample was divided into a basic sample of (20 students) and a survey sample of (20 students). And the division was based on the type of neural type (right or left), where the right type group was called group (A), and the left type group was called group (B), and the following table shows the statistical description of the basic and exploratory research sample.
Time domain: The experiment was implemented during the first semester of the 2019/2020 academic year
Means and tools for data collection: -
1- Reference survey
2- Expert opinion survey forms
3- Data dump forms
Tests used:
Measurements of growth rates:
Cerebral control scale.
Special tests for harmonic abilities
Conclusions: -
- In light of the study, its objectives, the method used, the research sample, the procedures that have been completed, and within the framework of the statistical treatments used for the data and results of the study, the researcher came to the following conclusions:
- The proposed training program using exercises had a positive effect on the research sample in the cerebral control pattern, whereby the brain control pattern of group (A) changed the pattern into the mixed pattern in the post-measurement, as well as the pattern of brain control for group (B). The left type to the mixed mode in the dimensional measurement.
- The effect of changing the cerebral control pattern of the research sample from the monotype (left or right) to the mixed pattern in the level of harmonic abilities positively.
- There are differences in the rate of change in harmonic abilities in the dimensional measurement in favor of group (A) in (assessment of the situation, kinetic link, balance, rhythm, adaptation to changing situations), while there are differences in the percentage change in the harmonic abilities in the measurement The dimension is in favor of group B in (the ability to exert) only.
Recommendations: -
Based on the data and information received in the context of this research, and based on what the conclusions derived from the statistical analysis and discussion and interpretation of the results indicate, the researcher makes the following recommendations:
- The need for sports training programs to include exercises that help develop the brain-control pattern into a mixed mode (right, left).
- Pay attention when choosing sports teams by choosing those who are distinguished by the mixed brain control mode, then the right brain control mode.
- Conducting more studies to identify the effect of other training programs on the pattern of brain control and the harmonic abilities of sports performances.
- The necessity to apply the proposed exercise program to students of sports performances in the Faculties of Physical Education.
