Abstract

The transition from reproductive to non-reproductive years in women is characterized by an increase in psychological, physical, motor and reproductive vascular symptoms. This phase is defined as menopause as a natural biological process, One of the main reasons is the natural decrease in reproductive hormones, where the ovaries begin to reduce estrogen and progesterone. finding new therapeutic methods is one of the main objectives of the present study, as laser acupuncture using acupuncture points in traditional Chinese medicine. Laser acupuncture is beneficial in terms of side effects compared to traditional acupuncture techniques Therefore, the present study showed the important role of laser therapy in improving the complications of hot flashes caused by menopause. In addition, the combination of laser therapy and therapeutic medication such as Tiblone was better than each individual treatment. Finally, laser acupoints are effective and can be used as an alternative treatment to reduce the frequency and severity of hot menopausal flashes and postmenopausal symptoms, especially if combined with Tibolone. Statement of significance: This study discovered the valuable role of laser acupuncture with drug therapy that can be useful for post menopausal complications and the severe consequences of hot flashes and night sweats. This study will help researchers to uncover vital areas of laser therapy, acupuncture, and suggest that many researchers have been unable to explore them. A new theory for the treatment of menopausal disorders may therefore be reached using a new protocol away from drug treatments in the near future.
