Introduction: Vision is critical for daily activities, and visual impairment is one of the most serious disabilities. Loss of the power of sight is a fundamentally life changing event for the individuals affected and their families. That is not all, however; as the gravest endpoint of ocular diseases, blindness also says something about the underlying disease burden of the population. The prevalence of blindness and visual impairment thus represents an indicator of the general state of health. The Aim of this study: The aim of the study is to determine the frequency and spectrum of eye diseases among patients attending Alhamoul Central Hospital, and detect the most common causes of ocular morbidity found among them. Results: A great number of ocular morbidity was observed at > 18 years of age. Given that most of this morbidity was preventable or treatable, reasonable eye morbidity service and early age screening are effective methods for reducing this load. In addition, preventive education for the reduction of ocular morbidity and also early presentation in ophthalmic hospitalsfor eye disorders treatment are essential. The highest frequency of glaucoma, Squint, bacterial and viral conjunctivitis were among cases aged less than 6 years. Near vision, eye trauma and allergic conjunctivitis were more frequent among cases aged from 6-18years.Inflammation of the eyelids, chalazion, dry eye and foreign body in the eye were higher among the group aged more than18 years.
