Abstract

Summary chronic tonsillitis is the most common of all recurrent throat diseases. Antimicrobial therapy often fails to eradicate and prevent recurrences of infection Tonsillectomy is one of the most common surgical procedures performed annually in children younger than 15 years. Indications for surgery include recurrent throat infections and sleep-disordered breathing (SDB), both of which can substantially affect child health status and quality of life (QoL). The aim this work is to answer the question, is there correlation between Quality of Life Impact of Tonsillectomy with Guideline Compliance. This study was carried out on One hundered sixty included cases,, 97 males( 60%) and 63 females (40%) presented in the clinic for any complain and had tonsillectomy more than one year ago. These cases were collected during the period from October 2017 to septmer 2019 from the E.N.T out patient clinic of tanta faculty of medicine hospital.
