Twelve bean cultivars widely cultivated in Egypt were used in this study. These cultivarsrepresenting five geographical isolated locations namely: Delta, Assuit, Sohag, New valley & Aswan and Qena. Seeds of these cultivars were kindly provided by Agriculture Research Center (ARC), National gene bank (NGB) Giza, Egypt. The Phaseolus vulgarisL. cultivarswere grown in the field following the recommended conditions for bean farming at the site of science faculty,Tanta University to study the morphological characters of the these cultivars . |
