Abstract

Energy storage and conversion are the primary needs for modernhuman civilization.In addition,depletion of fossil fuels, increasing pollution and growing demands of green energies forced the mankind to upgrade the
traditional energy storage system. Power density of the traditional energy
storage systems like batteries is comparatively low. Although supercapacitor can generate high power in comparison to battery or fuel cell, the energy density is low for practical applications. Therefore, the energy density or the charge storage capacity of the supercapacitor electrodes was needed to be enhanced using transition metal hydroxides or hybrid graphene materials
