The study sought to achieve a general goal, which is to monitor the public’s attitudes towards the role of Iraqi television in spreading the message of security institutions, This study belongs to the descriptive studies, and the study relied on the media survey method, in both its qualitative parts, represented in the in-depth and quantitative interview represented in the field study, which is an organized scientific effort to obtain information or descriptions about the phenomenon or phenomena under study, and the survey method is the most used in research The media and public opinion, as it can be used to achieve many goals that may be descriptive, explanatory or exploratory, and the sample survey method was used to survey a sample of the Iraqi public to identify its trends towards the role of Iraqi television in spreading the message of security institutions. The study used two data-collection tools: a questionnaire on the Iraqi public, in which a random sample of the Iraqi population, male and female, of 500 individuals in the State of Iraq, was selected, and an in-depth interview with the contact person for the Iraqi state television.
