Abstract
The Western Desert is considered the most prolific petroleum province in Egypt. The Shorouk field represents one of the main oil fields in the north Western Desert region due to its high production from many reservoirs. The study area lies between latitudes 30° 30° 40’’ – 30° 33’ 20’’ N and longitudes 26° 54’ 40’’ - 27° 00’ 00 E.
