i. Introduction :

iii. Defining the problem :
The current research problem was identified in the weak level of high school students in essay writing skills, and their inability with its skills. And then the current research tried to use the flipped classroom in developing essay writing skills.
The problem can be formulated in the following main question :
How can the development of descriptive essay writing skills for high school students using flipped learning?
This question is divided into the following questions:
1- What are the descriptive essay writing skills required for high school students?
2- What is the availability of descriptive essay writing skills for high school students?
3- What are the procedures for using the flipped classroom to develop essay writing skills for high school students?
4- What is the effectiveness of using the flipped classroom to develop essay writing skills for high school students?
iv. Research limits :
The current research is limited to the following limits :
