Abstract

The present study was employed in an attempt to evaluate the effect of Omega-3, vitamin C and low intensity laser therapy on the osseointegration of dental implants in osteopenic patients using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT).
The study was conducted on 24 implants that were placed in the mandibles of ten female osteopenic patients, ranging in age from 40 to 60 years old. The implants were divided into four groups:
group 1: (Control group): Consisted of 6 implants that were left to heal conventionally after implant placement. group 2: (Supplement group): Consisted of 6 implants, patients in this group received omega-3 and vitamin C supplements fourteen days before implant placement and continued throughout the whole period of the study (6 months). group 3: (Laser group): Consisted of 6 implants, patients in this group received low intensity laser (LIL) during the healing period after implant placement, using Gallium arsenide diode Laser. group 4: (Combination group): Consisted
