Abstract

All the obtained results compared with the air quality limits according to Egyptian Environmental law 4/1994 and its amendment 9/2009 and found that the results were lower than air quality limits and this indicated that the company comply with the Egyptian Environmental law limits and the workplace environment is safe. This due to the existence of a widespread and particularly high wind energy resource in this area according to the Wind Atlas for Egypt wind Atlas for Egypt along the Gulf of Suez.
Conclusion:
1. The monitoring of air pollutants as required by the Environmental Management System (EMS) of Dara Petroleum Company is implemented as planned in accordance with the Egyptian regulations stipulated in law 4/1994 ratified 9/2009 and its executive decrees.
2. The obtained results indicated that the average concentrations of (SO2, NO2, CO, H2S & PM 10) during (2016 & 2017 wintertime) were higher than these results that have been recorded during (2018 & 2019 summertime).
3. The results of monitoring air pollutants (SO2, NO2, CO, H2S & PM 10) in the selected area for the study (Arta, Hoshia & Hana) during four years 2016, 2017 wintertime & 2018, 2019 summertime were lower than the air quality limits according to Egyptian Environmental law 4/1994 and its amendment 9/2009 and this indicated that the workplace environment is safe., Recommendations: All control measures implemented by the company to make sure the workplace environment is clean should be kept in a good maintenance and performance.
2. It is recommended that Oil and Gas Companies and projects conduct, environmental measurements at lea times per year as a start to identify periods and locations of max pollution and then keep monitoring it., It is recommended that the monitoring activities be conducted in 24 hours instead of eight working hours.
