Abstract

In healthcare organization, nurses are considered as a backbone of its success as their performance and behaviors are key determinants for good performance. Justice and its implementation is a fundamental aspect to create citizenship behaviors among nurses and increase their loyalty and commitment to the organization. Organization benefits, salaries and rewards should be distributed fairly on all nurses. providing fair promotion affects nurses job satisfaction and commitment to the organization and decrease negative behaviors of nurses as absenteeism, being late for the work and leaving the job. Having satisfied nurses in the organization increase it’s success and make them provide more effort to achieve its objectives Good nurses are not those who are willing to fulfill their duties and responsibilities but can also show an attitude beyond their responsibilities as a mean of sympathy to colleagues and organization. Attitude displayed willingly by nurses without coercion and not linked to the scheme of salary or compensation known as organizational citizenship behavior.
