Abstract

The aim of this study was to assess in vivo the anticancer activity of resveratrol alone and in combination with a well-known chemotherapeutic drug, 5-FU, on Nmethylnitrosourea-induced colon cancer in rats. This work includes: 1. Assessment of the variations in the effectiveness of 5- fluorouracil and resveratrol as anticancer agent. 2. Examining the effect of 5-fluorouracil and resveratrol against N- methylnitrosourea-induced colon cancer rats and examining their histopathological, histochemical and immunohistochemical changes .
