Abstract The polymeric nanocomposites PANI/GO, PANI/RGO, PANI/CS/GO, PANI/CS/RGO, PAA/CS and PAA/CS/GO composites synthesized for effective methylene blue (MB) or methyl orange (MO) dyes removal through adsorption process. Synthesized composites were characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM, and FTIR analyses. The adsorption of dyes on synthesized composites was studied as a function of contact time, initial dye concentration, temperature, adsorption weight and pH. At optimum conditions, the nature of adsorption process has been investigated using kinetic and isotherm models. The obtained result showed that the prepared composite could be used for the removal of dye pollutants in water samples. |
