This study seeks to identify the nature of the Egyptian government’s image as reflected in social networking sites and the models that are dealt with research and analysis. This study is a descriptive and analytical study. In order to achieve this goal, the media survey method, both analytical and field, was used by distributing a questionnaire to the public, and the sample was chosen among the public in the cities of Zagazig and Mansoura. The study sample consisted of (400) individuals by 200 individuals for each city through a questionnaire form. A content analysis of the images on two axes, the axis of linear and silhouette photographs, and the validity and reliability of the forms were verified by presenting them to a group of professors, and a sample of official government pages was chosen for the Ministries of Education and Higher Education and the Ministry of Health. Among the most important findings of the study: The results of the field study confirmed the aim of presenting the content of the press material within the pages under study, and the data indicate that the guiding goal came in the first order, while the media goal came in the second order, and in the third order it combines more than one goal, the fourth is a cultural goal, and the fifth is an exploratory goal. In the sixth rank, the entertainment goal and the interpretive goal are equal, and in the seventh order the cash goal. The current study contains five chapters, an introduction, its conclusion, and recommendations. The first chapter introduces the methodological framework of the study, includes the problem of the study, its importance, its objectives, the sample and the tools used, and the theoretical framework of the study, and includes the theory of uses and gratifications. The second chapter presents: the knowledge framework for the study of the image of the Egyptian government as reflected in social networking sites, and includes the study of the official electronic pages of the ministries of (Education - Health - Higher Education) The third chapter deals with: the results of the study and includes the results of the analytical study of the official electronic pages of the ministries (Education - Health - Higher Education) The fourth chapter includes the results of the field study and the results of the study hypothesis test. Then the conclusion and recommendations of the study, the study supplements and the study sources.
