Abstract

This research aimed to convert thermal to electric energy by using floating TEG module in the Egyptian environment. The module achieves temperature difference on its sides by solar heat and cooling by waterbody. Temperatures in degrees can be obtained from meteoblue website which gives a graph of the weather conditions for every governorate in Egypt around the whole year. Surface temperatures of the Egyptians seas can be obtained from seatemperature.org website which is based on graphs derived from the historical sea surface data of many years. Our study will only be applied to cities which have water bodies.
from datasheet and mathematical model of TEG, the module could be simulated on MATLAB Simulink to get I-V and I-W characteristics throughout the year.
The course development process of the Medical instruments course for fourth-year students department of Electronics Technology of Faculty of Industrial Education should pass by important step which is analyzing the content and come out with the concepts and skills and evaluate them with reviewers who have experience from Faculty of Industrial Education.
The next step was designing general planning of the course and specify the course aims, course contents, teaching strategies, educational activities, learning resources and evaluation methods. The planned course evaluated by reviewers from Faculty of Industrial Education and Education.
The new course contained a new educational unit (third unit: Thermocouple) which planned and specified the unit aims, unit contents, teaching strategies, educational activities, learning resources and evaluation methods. The planned unit evaluated by reviewers from Faculty of Industrial Education and Education.
The developed unit required evaluation tools. Achievement test for cognitive evaluation, and Note cards for skills evaluation which developed and presented on reviewers in Faculty of Industrial Education for validity insurance to be able to be applied.
