The study aims to measure the usage of the educational channels on youtube site and other sites for the professors and their assistances at Cairo University. The study depends on the field research methodology that is suitable for this kind of researches. In this study , the researcher uses the questionnaire as a main tool and the interviews to collect data and information for the study sample. The study is applied on the community theoretical faculties of the study that consist of three (College of Arts - College of Commerce - College of Information) and the number of three practical colleges (College of Engineering - College of Pharmacy - College of Agriculture) and this was the study community. And the rate of the sample is 7.9% of the size of the study community. The questionnaire that is used as the main tool consists of four axises and the personal data. The first axis shows the professors’ usage of the social media in a general way and their opinions that show the advantages and disadvantages of the usage of the social media programmes in the educational process. And the most effective programmes in the educational process. The second axis handles the professors’ usage of youtube site and they show the advantages and disadvantages of the using it.
