المستخلص This dissertation is interested in making a systematic study of King Seti II‟s, a late 19th Dynasty Pharaoh, Monumental Works in the region of Thebes. Accordingly, the dissertation bulk divided into two main chapters. First chapter studies and analysis the king‟s monuments at east Thebes, divided to three sub-chapters; first, studies the king‟s Triple Bark Shrine at Karnak, as the most celebrate and prominent of his monuments at east Thebes (modern Luxor); the second, studies other (minor) works at Karnak Temple including obelisks, Stelas, statuary, scenes, inscriptions, and parts of buildings; the Third studies the king‟s monuments at Luxor Temple including scenes, inscriptions, Stelas, statuary parts, and parts of buildings. Second chapter studies monuments featuring the name of the king at west Thebes divided into two sub-chapters; first studies the king‟s tomb (KV 15) at valley of the kings; the second studies other (minor) works featuring the name of the king at west Thebes including inscriptions, scenes, and artifacts at Ramesseum and Medinet Habu. All of mentioned above include original and usurped (reused) monuments which the dissertations aims to study and analyze for trying to propose its historical implications. |
