Abstract Gabal Igla El Ahmar area is a part of the Arabian-Nubian shield exposed in the Central Eastern Desert of Egypt about 12 km to the northwest of Marsa Alam between longitudes 34o 34’ to 34o 47’ E and latitudes 25o 05’ to 25o 20’ N-African rocks The studied Pre-Cambrian basement rocks around Gabal Igla El Ahmar area are classified and grouped as shown. |
