Abstract The present thesis is concerted on the preparation and characterization through elemental analyses, different spectral (IR, UV-Visible, mass , 1H,13C NMR and XRD) ,thermal (TGA and DrTGA) and magnetic measurements of new complexes of new hydrazones with Cr(III), Mn(II), Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Cd(II), Zn(II) and Hg(II) metal ions. Also, biological activity studies were carried out. The obtained results can be summarized as follow: 1. characterization of the new hydrazones and its complexes. 2. The geometries are suggested for the prepared complexes based on the data evaluated from spectral and magnetic measurements. 3. X-ray powder diffraction analysis had been applied on some complexes. 4. Thermal analysis for the prepared complexes was performed. 5. Study of thermal behaviour of the complexes. 6. The molecular modeling is drawn and showed bond length, bond angle, and some calcuation using DFT method. 7. Study of the antibacterial activity and the antifungal activity of the compounds under study. 8. Study the DNA binding activity utilizing UV–vis spectroscopy method. |
