This was a prospective observational study aimed to study the role of
hysteroscopy in repeated IVF/ICSI failure and its impact on subsequent trials.

excluded from the study.
Informed written consent was taken from every included patient. After
full history and examination, all patients were subjected to 4D US
examination with same device (Siemens acuson X300). Then from day 7 day
11 from menstruation hysteroscopy was done to all patients using saline as a
distention medium.
Results showed that by 4D US, 82% had unremarkable findings.
According to abnormal findings, the number of patients that had polyp,
endometritis, myoma, and septum was 4,1,3 and 1 patients respectively and
those represented 8%, 2%, 6% and 2% respectively. while by hysteroscopy,
60% had unremarkable findings. According to abnormal findings, the number
of patients that had polyp, endometritis, myoma, and septum, narrow
cavity, short cevix and adhesive band was 43,7,2,3,3,1 and 1 and 1
