Abstract

Because of the appearance resulting from fashion in the environment and the phenomenon, internal warming and the phenomenon of change, resulting from change, resulting from climate change, resulting from climate change, resulting from the revenues of traditional cars, due to the high percentage of cars in the world that leads to scarcity, and the appearance phenomenon, its high price, Attention has turned to fuel energy sources that do not need fossil fuels, such as electric cars. Electric cars introduced. where there are different types and technologies of electric cars, such as hybrid electric cars (the propulsion system in which depends on a mixture of electric energy and fossil fuels), battery-powered electric cars (the propulsion system is completely electric), and there are also hybrid electric vehicles connected to electricity. The use of electric cars has an effect other than the positive effects of using electric cars, such as their positive impact on the environment and reducing pollution rates as well as the economic effects of their use. The thesis presents a study of the impact of the increasing reliance of electric cars on the electric utility network. The thesis is located in five chapters and an Arabic summary and another in English and a list of references on as follows: Chapter One: This chapter reviews the objectives of the thesis and an overview of its contents, in addition to a simplified presentation of what its chapters contain. Chapter Two: It contains the history of electric vehicles and their various technologies. A comparison will be made between electric vehicles and conventional vehicles in terms of cost, fuel consumption and emissions from each, as it contains systems of different levels of charge, types of batteries, the most commonly used and the most popular and evaluated electric vehicles. The types and levels of chargers used in charging electric vehicles and the stages of the charging process will be clarified. Chapter Three: This chapter presents the effects of the increasing number of electric vehicles on the quality of the power system, such as voltage imbalance, frequency deviation, voltage DROP and harmonics, which affect the electric power grid. This chapter also presents the unified power quality index that can be used as a single measure of grid quality when charging electric vehicles through the use of AI technology and the final conclusions from the study are presented. Chapter Four: This chapter discusses the effect of charging electric vehicles in a grid containing solar cells as an alternative source of energy. Here we also introduce a smart charging and discharging method to ensure grid voltage regulation. This study aims to achieve increased use of renewable sources such as photovoltaic and reduce the increasing effects of electric vehicle charging demand while ensuring electric vehicle charging; Providing system performance and stability using electric vehicles to regulate voltage, taking into account the flexibility of charging / discharging Chapter Five: This chapter includes the most important conclusions and conclusions drawn from the analyzes, mathematical models and simulation programs that were conducted, and directions for future work.
