Abstract In this work, patients of different liver cancer types have been studied using 18F-Fluorodeoxyglucose positron-emission tomography with computed tomography (18F [FDG] PET/CT). Different quantitative analysis techniques were applied to tumors after segmentation from PET/CT images. Metabolic parameters and 35 radiomics features have been compared through two dimensional (2D) and three dimensional 3D) modes. The metabolic parameters and tumor morphology have been compared through two different types of software, there was no significant difference through the two software Most of the 3D mode features show a correlation with metabolic parameters. In the case of 2D mode features, all metabolic and radiomics features show no significant correlation with tumor characteristics. |
