Abstract

Psoriasis is a chronic immune-mediated inflammatory skin disease,its pathogenesis is still not clear,overexpression of antimicrobial peptides is characteristic of psoriasis. Granulysin is a cytolytic protein of natural killer cells and cytotoxic T lymphocytes, acts as antimicrobial peptide. Our study performed on 30 psoriasis vulgaris patients and 20 age and sex healthy control individuals, recruited from the outpatient clinic of Dermatology and Andrology department of Assiut University Hospital during the period of April 2018 to October 2019.
