Abstract The present study was conducted in two experiments Experiment I: was conducted to study the effects of supplementation of algae (Amphora coffeaformis) in broilers diets. Experiment II: was conducted to evaluate the effects of supplementation of phytogenic product (Ancofit poultry). Chicken fed on isocaloric and isonitrogenous diets. Experiment extended for 42 days (6weeks) and the feeding program was divided into 3 stages: a) Starter stage: from 0-10 day in which the bird fed diet containing 23% CP and 3000 kcal/kg diet ME. b) Grower stage: from 11-24 day in which the bird fed diet containing 20 % CP and 3100 kcal/kg diet ME. 3) Finisher stage: from 25-42 day in which the bird fed diet containing 19% CP and 3200 kcal/kg diet ME. Both experiments were designed to study their effects on: (1) Growth performance of broiler chickens (body weight gain, feed intake & feed conversion ratio) (2) Some biochemical analysis: lipid profile (total Cholesterol, triglyceride, HDL-c, LDL-c & VLDL-c), liver function (ALT & AST), kidney function (uric acid & creatinine), (3) Histopathological examination of intestinal tissue. |
