The present study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of an e-training program in developing some technical guiding skills of primary stage EFL supervisors and its effect on the teaching performance of their teachers. The researcher used a quasi-experimental control method in design. The participants were one hundred and twenty primary stage supervisors and teachers, the treatment group consisted of sixty supervisors and teachers, and the non-treatment group included also sixty supervisors and teachers. The instruments included the following: 1- a checklist to determine the guidance skills needed by the study subjects, 2- a proposed guidance program which was presented in the form of a website, 3- a pre-post questionnaire to measure the supervisors’ guidance skills and a pre-post observation form to measure the teachers’ teaching performance. The treatment lasted for seven weeks. Before and after treatment, the pre-post questionnaires and forms were administered to both groups. Results revealed that the e-training program was effective both in developing the technical guiding skills of primary stage EFL supervisors and in the developing teaching performance of their teachers. Findings were discussed; recommendations and suggestions for further research were presented.
