Abstract This study aimed at using Easyclass platform to enhance some writing skills for second year prep school pupils. The researcher adopted the quasi-experimental design. Thirty pupils were selected at random from Al-Riyad prep school in Al-Riyad Directorate, Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, in the academic year 2019-2020. The participants were assigned to two groups: 15 pupils in the experimental group and 15 pupils in the control one. Participants of the experimental group were taught through the e-learning platform of Easyclass whereas the control group received the regular method. A checklist, computer literacy questionnaire, writing test and a rubric were utilized to collect data. Data obtained were analyzed by the Mann-Whitney test using the statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS, Version, 21). Findings proved that the e-learning platform of Easyclass improved the experimental group’s writing sub-skills. Accordingly, relevant pedagogical implications, recommendations and suggestions for further research were discussed. Key Words: E-learning Platforms, Easyclass, Writing Skill, Primary Stage, Egypt. |
