Abstract Epilepsy is a chemical brain disorder characterized by repeated seizures which may affect patient behavior. Epilepsy is more expected to occur in young children or people over the age of 65 years are considered the highest groups may have epilepsy; though it may happen at any age(6). Motor disturbances may include convulsions which defined as involuntary, violent, and spasmodic—or prolonged contraction of skeletal muscles. A patient should not be defined as having epilepsy until a second non-pyretic seizure occurs Localization-related seizures characterized by the initial neuronal discharges localized and not generalized in the brain. The seizure has been known as a simple partial seizure if there is no loss of consciousness and includes Jacksonian epilepsy, which may be accompanying with motor or sensory disturbances. If there is impaired, consciousness the seizure has been known as a complex partial seizure. Partial seizures may turn into secondarily generalized seizures if the neuronal discharge spreads to involve the entire brain. |
