المستخلص The main objective of the study is to develop a proposed vision to achieve the requirements of activating performance indicators to improve the competitiveness of general secondary education in Egypt, and through it the intellectual and conceptual frameworks for each of the performance and competitiveness indicators in secondary education were identified, as well as the intellectual principles of the competitiveness indicators of general secondary education in Egypt, with Extracting benefits from some global experiences of countries that have achieved advanced positions in the competitiveness of education, and revealing the reality of achieving general secondary education in Egypt for the requirements of activating educational competitiveness indicators. The study recommended a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: 1. Development of performance standards and indicators that are applied by the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Authority to improve the competitiveness of general secondary education. 2. Issuing an electronic guide at the ministry’s level to be used as a framework for school monitoring and evaluation standards, based on the activation of global indicators used to measure the competitiveness of secondary education globally. 3. Providing a framework between schools and evaluation officials that allows easy exchange of information through the ministry’s website and providing it on time to collect data from the Global Competitiveness Report. 4. Standardizing the language of dialogue used in communicating with schools about the main education evaluation objectives and performance indicators specific to the competitiveness of education in Egypt. 5. Providing data for the school’s outstanding level, which the state aspires to achieve, and circulating it to improve competitiveness in the field of education in general and general secondary education in particular. |
