Tools: An interview questionnaire was used for data collection that included five parts: sociodemographic characteristics, medical history, availability, and accessibility of health care services, barriers and challenges that the elderly face in accessing health care services, the elderly’s satisfaction with health care services, and suggestions. Results: outpatient clinics were favored by 48% of participants, who were seen for medical examinations and investigations. 94% of participants had transportation difficulties, 73% of participants were waiting for a long time to be diagnosed. 66% did not have health insurance coverage. Conclusion: there is a statistically significant difference between elderly people gender and accessible preferred health settings; a highly significant difference between elderly people’s satisfaction and health service challenges; and there is a highly statistically significant difference between elderly people’s residence and health service challenges.
