The current study aimed to identify the planning requirements for the needs of basic education schools from teachers in the Kufra region in Libya, and to identify the problem of shortage or surplus of teachers and to find weaknesses and develop solutions to them, in an effort to try to determine the requirements and development of educational planning in basic education schools in the Kufra region in Libya, and to achieve the objectives of the study A questionnaire consisting of (47) items was built in its final formulation distributed over two axes, and the researcher used the descriptive approach, where the study sample amounted to (279) principals and teachers of basic education. In light of the results of the study, both theoretical and field, and in light of the nature of the proposed vision, the researcher recommends the following: 1. Spreading the culture of planning in the educational institution. 2. Holding seminars and workshops on an ongoing basis dealing with the importance of planning. 3. Providing material support represented by the financial resources and technology necessary to develop planning processes for the schools’ needs of teachers. 4. The necessity of reducing the obstacles that may stand in the way of implementing the plan and dealing with it by decision makers in the educational process. 5. The necessity of coordination between schools and the Kufra Planning Office in developing an executive plan to meet the needs of teachers.
