Abstract Drastic marine biodiversity changes that occurred over the last century raise key questions today with association of the concept of ecosystem resilience to environmental changes so; Paleostudies carried out on fossil sediment archives thus provide valuable informations and new data discussing the environmental changes (paleoceanographic and paleohydrographic interpretations) of past events. The present study has been conducted in order to determine the microhabitat and reconstructions of the past changes in trophic state in the southeastern Mediterranean Sea for the interval covering the last few thousands of years (Holocene). |
