Abstract

“AquaCrop” is a crop water productivity simulation model developed by the Land and Water Division of FAO .The present study involves adjusting a locally calibrated and validated version of “AquaCrop” together with “CROPWAT” and “LocClim” programs (after calibrating locality parameters) to predict the impact of climate change on wheat crop production in newly reclaimed areas in northern Egypt (Nile Delta fringe deserts) starting the year ‘2012’ by setting field experimental pilot sites.
